Phase One (Initial Processing):
This phase of registration is conducted by/through an Action
Career Training (ACT) representative in Bldg 101, Rm 21 on
CTC campus. ALL students must complete this phase of
registration prior to actual enrollment into the program. It
includes a personal interview to determine the applicant's
acceptability into a truck driving career. Applicants will
be asked to complete an ACT application and acceptance will
be based upon information provided in the application.

Phase Two (CTC Registration):
This phase is conducted the first day of class in the classroom.
Students will complete the required CTC documents. All students
will be required to take a Department of Transportation (DOT)
physical and drug screen during the first 48 hours of training.
A motor vehicle report will be run on applicants to check driving
record. Failure of the DOT physical or drug screen or providing
false information during the application process may disqualify
applicant from training. Students will be responsible for payment
of all incurred costs up to the date of termination.
Students must furnish their own personal supplies (paper, pen,
notebook, leather work gloves, calculators, coveralls, etc.).
Students will be expected to dress as required by the profession.
Shorts, cutoffs, tank tops, and open-toed shoes are not allowed.
Students must wear work boots or leather shoes.
